Scope: Concept art - Environment design

Objective: this is a work that I made on a digital painting course assignment, in that assignment I was asked to make a place that would later become the background for the character designs that I also made on the digital painting assignment at that time.

 

Artwork’s concept: Masacro is a place to fight which is the setting for the climactic moment of the story that I created. In Masacro all fighters will fight to the last drop of blood in order to achieve victory, according to the concept of the name Masacro is taken from Spanish which means slaughter. Therefore, the design of the building was inspired by the Colosseum building, a place that was famous as a place of massacre in its time. The atmosphere of Masacro is made with a scary sensation to support the characteristics of Masacro itself.
